A loan of $700 helped a member to buy more tailoring items and soap for her business.


Kasiza's Tailoring & Soaps Group's story

Kazisa is 43 years old. She is married and has 5 children, between ages 7 and 19. She has owned her own soap and tailoring store since 2005. Every day, she begins work at 6AM and finishes at 6PM. On average, she can earn a monthly profit of around $40.


In the past, Kazisa has successfully completed two loans from BRAC Tanzania. She used her previous loans to expand her business. Joyce is now requesting a loan in order to purchase more tailoring materials and soaps. She will also share her loan with her current subgroup member, Waohra, who sells various foods.
