Fatuma's story

Fatuma is a married woman, with four children, one who attends school and three of whom are adults. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food. For the past one year, she has operated a business of selling leso clothes ( women's wrap). She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her place of operation. She dreams of expanding to become a big supplier of clothes in the future. With the KES 40,000 she wants to purchase 40 pieces of lesos for resale.
