Mwanaisha's story

Mwanaisha is married with two school-going children. She lives in her own house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.

Mwanaisha has operated a Khanga (women wrap cloth) selling business for the past ten years. She sells in a shop to her town dwellers, passersby, and neighbors. She faces a major challenge of inflation in her business.

With the KES 40,000, she wants to purchase bales of Khangas(women wrap clothes) for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
