Tursunbu's story

Tursunbu is 60 years old, married, and has raised children with her husband. Her children now live independently. Tursunbu has a secondary education. The family's primary source of income is animal husbandry. Tursunbu started this business twelve years ago when she bought cattle for 15,000 KGS. Due to Tursunbu's hard work, her farm now has three dairy cows and fourteen sheep. She earns a monthly income of 12,000 KGS. In order to further develop her farm, Tursunbu approached the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 KGS to buy cattle for breeding. Tursunbu plans to use her profits to increase her livestock and plans to save enough money to buy a car.
