A loan of $1,250 helped buy calves.

Kalima's story

Kalima is 43 years old, married, and raising six children with her husband. Kalima has a vocational education. The family's primary source of income is animal husbandry. Kalima started the farm nineteen years ago when she purchased cattle with 15,000 KGS. Thanks to Kalima's hard work, her farm now has two milk cows and twenty sheep. She earns a monthly income of 10,000 KGS. In order to further develop her farm, Kalima is approaching the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 60,000 KGS to buy bulls for breeding. Kalima plans to invest income from the loan in increasing her livestock and plans to save enough money to repair her house.
