Zeina's story

Zeina is a 23-year-old married woman from Lebanon living with her husband and only child. In 2009, she opened her own shop where she sells flowers in addition to cosmetics and toys. Her husband has worked as a gardener for the past 12 years and they combine forces to gather enough money to be able to pay everyday expenditures. Today, she is asking to borrow a youth loan from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l to increase her store’s inventory of toys, beauty products and flowers. Zeina intends to vary her products to attract more customers and earn higher income. In the future, she hopes to expand her business into other areas.
