A loan of $2,475 helped to purchase building and insulation materials.

Shiiter's story

Mrs. Shiiter, 53 years old, lives with her son in Darkhan, the second largest city of Mongolia. She has been working as a saleswoman at a grocery store for ten years. Her son is a truck driver and works at a mining company.

She is requesting a loan of 4,000,000 MNT to purchase building and insulation materials, such as planks, cement, fiberglass and foam. Using those materials, she and her son will repair and insulate their old house. The renovated house will enable the family to burn less coal for heating, thus releasing fewer pollutants into the atmosphere.

The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
