A loan helped purchase clothing, shoes, decoration and more.

Enilda Del Carmen's story

Thank you for supporting Enilda, who thanks to her loan with Kiva, was able to purchase a variety of items such as shoes, clothing, perfume, supplies like flour, cheese, and snacks that she will use to make delicious foods like cakes, hayacas (like a tamale) and finger foods.
Her Kiva loan helped her because she was able to increase her working capital and with it she was able to increase her sales, and settle her bills. She says to the lenders at Kiva that the help they have given her has helped her to advance, as much as in her professional as in her personal career. Currently, she is applying for a new loan that she will use to purchase end of the year items such as clothing, shoes, decorations and to increase her sales of finger foods by purchasing the ingredients in larger volume and then selling a higher quantity of product. These finger foods are what her customers ask for the most during holiday season.
