Habibu's story

Habibu, a 34 year old married man, grew up in a polygamous family; he was forced to start fending for himself early since he did not go far with school. He is a resident of a suburb of Kampala city, married with 2 children who attend school, and he takes care of his two sisters and pays for their school fees.

Habibu deals in a business of spare parts for motorcycles which is strategically located in the busy city centre He started the business in 2010 with an aim of stimulating his daily income and to have widened businesses. He got a loan of UGX 3,000,000 to buy more stock to serve his clients better due to an increased demand for spare parts in the town. Habibu sells mostly to motorcycle riders who come from different parts of towns. He however faces challenges of inadequate capital competition in the market.

Habibu is such a determined and committed man, and aims at acquiring more loans to boost his business so that it attains consistent growth and expansion so that his children can have a better education and future.
