Kaberi Shg Group's story

Kaberi Self Help Group is a group consisting of 10 members, all of whom are women. These entrepreneurs are very humble, hardworking and responsible people with good manners and lots of enthusiasm to improve their lives. A few years back, they were all facing the same poverty, so they planned to start a vegetable business where they can provide fresh, quality vegetables to their customers.

One of them is Mrs. Rina, who was selected as their president. Rina is a 39-year-old lady living with her husband and her two children, who are students. Her husband works as a labourer in a factory situated near her village. She produces and sells vegetables to her customer and has developed a very good relationship with her customers in the village and nearby market. She likes the fact that she can cater to the needs of the people in her village and nearby market. She has a plan to make her vegetable business bigger and produce more higher quality vegetables to satisfy her customers. She, along with her group, has requested a loan amount of 180,000 INR to purchase high quality seeds and fertilizers.
