Nyamvula's story

Nyamvula is a married woman with ten children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For the past two years, she has operated a shop kiosk business, selling to her neighbors and passersby. She mentioned seasonality as her major challenge. Nyamvula dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.

With the Kshs 30,000 she wants to purchase sweets, biscuits, bread, milk, soft drinks, rice, beans and cooking oil. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
