Ana Xiomara's story

Ana Xiomara is an enterprising woman who is a fighter. She is 30 years old, married and from her relationship has 4 children who live with her and help her with her different activities such as: clearing, cutting, fertilizing and plotting, etc. She has an incomplete primary education and went to school up to 4th grade and couldn't keep going to school due to lack of financial support from her parents. They were the ones who taught her how to grow coffee, an activity her family has done for a long time and for generations. Today she does it with her husband. The land they grow on is their own, thanks to an inheritance from her parents, located nearby her house. She walks there every day.

Today she is asking for help to buy fertilizer and other materials to help prevent her crops from being infected with rust and other diseases that deteriorate the quality of the product. Her plans for the future are to have a large plantation with a variety of beans for her customers and everyone who consumes the product. This way, she can generate more income that will help fortify the inheritance for her children and grandchildren so that they can keep working the land se works for generations to come.
