A loan of $1,225 helped to buy farming supplies for her coffee crops.

Reina's story

Reina is 47 years old and is married with 4 children, of whom 3 have completed their studies and are professionals, married and living outside the family home, and one of whom is in the final year of secondary school.

Reina and her husband have made a living farming for many years and it is the only source of income for her family and home. Thanks to this line of work she has been able to help her children and give them the necessary support for them to study.

They own the land they farm, as thanks to the efforts of many years they were able to buy it and now work on it themselves. They are growing many types of coffee, and they thank God for this great privilege and opportunity they have in spite of the various challenges this type of product faces every day.

Their plans for the future are to continue expanding their coffee crops through buying land and thereby increasing their assets for their children in the hope that they will continue working on it from generation to generation and that it will be a real blessing to them. This is why they are currently applying for a loan to buy farming supplies for coffee crops such as manure, plant fertilizers, coffee formula, fungicides and herbicides, amongst other things that will protect their crops.
