A loan helped to buy supplies for a textile business.

Jenneh's story

This is 43-year-old Jenneh. She is married and has 5 children aged 23, 21,18,15 and 12. She has 1 additional dependent: her old mum staying with her for proper care.

In 2002, Jenneh established her clothing and textiles business. She began her business just to support her children's education. Her business is located at the city centre and her main customers are mostly women. Working 7 days a week and 10 hours a day, she earns about 600,000 SLL every month from this business.

She would like a loan in the amount of 3,000,000 SLL. Jenneh has already received and successfully repaid 2 loans and now requires a new loan in order to buy waxed cotton for 3,000,000 SLL. She hopes that this loan will increase her additional income. In the future, Jenneh plans to complete the construction of her house and to educate her children. She is saying thanks to Kiva.
