A loan of $700 helped to buy more plastic dishes.

Isata's story

This is 30-year-old Isata. She is married and has 3 children aged 9, 5 and 3. She has 1 additional dependent who stays with her for schooling.

In 2007, Isata established her plastic pan and dishes business. She began her business just to enhance her independence. Her business is located at the city centre and her main customers are both men and women. Working 7 days a week and 9 hours a day, she earns about 500,000 SLL every month from this business.

She would like a loan in the amount of 3,000,000 SLL. Isata has already received and successfully repaid 1 loan and now requires a new loan in order to buy dozens of plastic dishes for 1,500,000 SLL and dozens of pan dishes for 1,500,000 SLL. She hopes that this loan will increase her stock level. In the future, Isata plans to rent a larger shop and to educate her children She appreciates the gesture she is receiving from Kiva. She thanks you for your support.
