A loan of $1,450 helped to buy steer.

Nazgul's story

Nazgul is 37 years old and married. She and her husband are raising five children. Nazgul has received secondary education. As a main source of income for her family, Nazgul raises livestock, having launched this business 19 years ago by buying cattle for 6,000 KGS. Thanks to Nazgul’s hard work, her farm today includes two dairy cows, one horse and four goats. Her monthly income is 9,000 KGS. In order to develop her farm further, Nazgul has turned to the Bai Tushum & Partners microfinance institution for a loan in the amount of 70,000 KGS in order to increase her headcount by buying cattle. Nazgul plans to use the resulting revenue for a further increase of her livestock. She also plans to save up for a car.
