Ameena's story

Ameena is a 45-year-old married woman and a mother of six children. She is a vigorous lady and, for the past four years, has been running a business selling cloth. She buys cloth of different fabrics in various colors and designs from the wholesale market and then sells them to the people of her community. She has a varied customer base and is able to earn enough through her business.

Ameena is requesting a 35,000 PKR loan from the Kashf Foundation to buy a wide variety of cloth in different colors and designs to attract more customers and expand her inventory. She is in her second loan cycle with good repayment history. Ameena expects boost in her earnings with her loan and she plans to spend the part of her profits for the betterment of her family members.
