Ana's story

This is Ana, 38 years old, and resident of Tanza, Cavite, Philippines. She is married to Fernando, her business partner, and they have children. She, together with her husband, manages their household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to provide income continually for her everyday expenses. Ana operates a repacking business. What she basically does is buy different products from wholesalers, repacks them, and sells them at a profit. Her regular customers are neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of 500 Philippine Pesos (PHP) in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a PHP 15, 000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy different products such as peppers, laurel leaves, potassium aluminum sulfate, and other products for repacking.

Ana dreams that her business will flourish and hopes to have a better living. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
