A loan of $1,100 helped to buy organic fertilizer and seeds.

Zoila's story

Zoila, who is 59 years old, is separated and has five children that live with her in the home she owns. Zoila is a farmer. She works cultivating, watering, and preparing the land for her crops. She also produces honey and grows regional products. She has been working in this business for over thirty years. What she likes about her work is that she has time to share with her children. Sales are good because the products she obtains from her land are very good. She takes her products to the wholesale market in the city of Pucallpa, where her customers await her to conduct business.

This will be her sixth loan through Kiva, which is why she is now requesting their cooperation in order to carry out her plans. She is very happy to know she will have the financial support to keep her business going. She will use the requested amount of 3,000 soles to buy seeds and organic fertilizer for her crops.
