A loan of $3,725 helped a member buy charcoal to resell.

Mujeres En Accion Group's story

The Mujeres en Accion group is part of a program seeking to eliminate proverty. The women each determine their own situation and learn how to help themselves.

One of the members is Sra. Maria who earns her living selling charcoal. Through this work she is able to help her family and provide them with what they need to get ahead. Her work is going well as sales of charcoal are increasing due to the low price of charcoal.

Maria is seeking a loan to buy more charcoal so she can continue with this work, invest in her business, and carry on supporting her family.
