A loan of $600 helped buy a milk cow.

Luís Ramon's story

Luis is 42 years old, is married, and has 2 children (ages 17 and 20). He only completed school up to the 9th grade, due to his family's financial problems. His wife is a housewife and also helps him with the farming.

He has been a farmer since he was a child, having been taught the trade well by his parents. Currently, he works alongside his children and his wife. In the morning, he milks his cows, sells the milk, and then cares for his animals that are out to pasture.

This loan will be used to buy a milk cow that a family member wants to sell him. His milk production and his family's income will increase.

Due to a lack of space on his property, Luis is planning to buy a plot of land where he can keep his animals. For the moment, he rents some land near his house for this purpose. In this way, he will be able to care for them better and also avoid an unneeded expense.
