A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for renovation of electrocardiography machine.

Armenuhi's story

Armenuhi is from Metsamor town, where she lives with her husband, mother-in-law and two children. She works as a nurse in a local clinic and provides medical services from her house. As the village is not rich with clinics and hospitals, people need a medical specialist who is able to provide needed services right from her house.

Due to her kindness and hard work, Armenuhi is in great demand among both local villagers and people from nearby villages. Now this hardworking woman needs financial assistance to be able to renovate her electrocardiography machine and provide cardiac checks to her clients.

She has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business startup loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products, so this loan is very important for Armenuhi and she hopes for lenders' support.
