A loan of $1,025 helped to boost his wife's business by purchasing flour, rice, fish, noodles, eggs, etc.

Alberto's story

Alberto comes from the district of Namaacha. He's 48 years old and married, and he lives in a house that he owns. He has seven children, all of whom attend school. He doesn't have anyone under his responsibility. Alberto has worked in education for over 29 years. He earns an income which he uses to pay for his household and construction expenses. He opted to request this loan so he can boost his wife's business by purchasing flour, rice, fish, noodles, eggs, etc. That way he'll try and increase his family's income, since he works far away from his family. In the future he intends to enlarge his store. He's confident that he'll repay the loan ahead of schedule so he can apply for more loans.
