Sudabe's story

Sudabe is a 41-year-old woman; a widow who raises her two children alone. She is a market vendor and sells different kind of goods like shampoo, flour, beverages, macaroni, butter, and candies. She has 10 years of experience and deep knowledge of the market and the demands of her clients. Since her husband’s death, she has been receiving social financial support, but it is too low to cover her family's demands.

The food products Sudabe sells are very popular among people and in high demand. Her monthly profit from selling the food is 200 AZN. Her sons help her purchase the products and bring them to the shop. This is the sole financial income for her family. She is a very successful entrepreneur because of her good location, in the central bazaar of her home city.

She applied for a loan of 2,000 AZN to purchase more food products and diversify the range of goods to cover her customers` demands.
