A loan of $700 helped to buy provisions and soft drinks.

Susan's story

This is 52-year-old Susan. She is married and has three children, ages 25, 20, and 18 years. She has two nieces who live with her and she takes care of them.

In 2009, Susan established her provision and drinks business. She began her business to earn a living. Working six days a week and ten hours a day, Susan met her target of increasing her monthly profits by SLL 500,000. She earns about SLL 1,500,000 (Sierra Leone leones) every month from this business.

Susan would like a loan in the amount of SLL 3,000,000. She requires the loan in order to buy provisions worth SLL 3,000,000.

She was able to expand her business by getting involved in the wholesaling of soft drinks and she employed a sales assistant.

Susan is planning to buy 50 crates of empties and to buy more soft drinks. She thanks you for your support.
