Yolanda's story

This is Yolanda, 57. She is a resident of Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. She is single and has three children. She works hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Yolanda operates a food stall. She sells snacks like banana cue, hotdogs, barbecue and other snacks. She also has a direct selling business for additional income. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. Yolanda earns a minimum of PHP 700 in sales every day.

To help her continue operating her business, she is requesting a PHP 10,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy ingredients and products like hotdogs, pork, bananas and other ingredients needed in her food stall. Yolanda hopes that her business will flourish and dreams to have an abundant life. Yolanda meets with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
