Sonia Yiseth's story

Sonia, 22, is a young woman who is dedicated to working in her fast-food business that came about as a way of earning income to contribute to her home’s upkeep. She works alone Tuesday to Sunday from 5-10pm. Her business has been located at home for a year and she’s earned sufficient income there to cover some off the family expenses. She’s noted for being active, driven and enterprising with a positive outlook that has led her to attain what she’s set out to do. She’s currently asking for a loan to buy a cooler, tables, chairs and supplies at wholesale (sauces, cold-cuts, oil, potatoes) and also to do some physical improvements to the site. In this way she’ll have greater capacity to provide better service since her customers will be more comfortable and she’ll also change her site’s appearance which will attract new customers and this will be reflected in her sales and thus her income. This is how Sonia intends to advance towards reaching her main dream which is to open a profitable restaurant where she can generate employment and have the opportunity of improving her family’s living conditions.
