A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fertilizer.

Napoleón's story

Napoleón, 37, is married with three children who are 15, 14 and 11 years old; all attend school. Napoleón dropped out of school because he decided to work to help his parents economically. He’s been working in agriculture for nearly 30 years, an occupation he learned when he left school to work with his father. He continues working in agriculture to this day. He walks about one kilometer from home to reach his fields and his oldest son help him when he can.

He will use the loan to buy chemicals. He has 14,000 square meters of corn that needs to be fertilized. His greatest wish is that his children complete their schooling so that they can enjoy a life he was unable to. He also plans to continue working in agriculture but hopes to plant a larger area.
