Le groupement HADJROMEDE est formé de onze personnes qui habitent toutes dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupe, nommée Dohoué, est celle dont la main est levée sur la photo. Dohoué est agée de 38 ans et est une veuve et mère de cinq enfants, dont certains scolarisés. Dohoué vit seule avec ses enfants et assure leurs différentes charges grâce à son activité. Il y a environs dix ans, Dohoué vend du maïs et de poisson à son domicile. Dohoué s’approvisionne dans sa région. Dans le but de rehausser leur activité et de mieux répondre à la demande de leur clientèle Dohoué et son groupe HADJROMEDE sollicitent auprès de ALIDé pour une quatrième fois un crédit. Ce crédit leur servira à renforcer leur activité afin de mieux répondre à la demande de leur clientèle.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late.
