Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Fe's story

Fe is 40 years old and is from Talibon, Bohol. She is married with three children ages 10, 17 and 18.

Fe has been engaged in a sari-sari store business and in selling of home-cooked meals for 6 years now. This is her means of earning a living for her family's needs. She is asking for a loan of 10000 PHP to buy vegetables, meat, canned goods, chips, candies, noodles and to pay for tuition fees. Her income provides her family with the needed healthy diet and school fees for her children.

In the future, Fe hopes to expand her business and increase business profitability for her children’s continued education.
