Goderdzi's story

Goderdzi is a 67-year-old married man. He lives with his wife, daughter and aunt. His aunt is provided with a retirement pension. Goderdzi is involved in agricultural activities. He has two cows and a vineyard. His wife milks the cows every day and produces cheese to sell. Goderdzi produces wine and sells to local retailers at a good price.

He decided to start a new business and requested a loan. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables him to get a loan of 1,000 GEL and start trade with clothing. He will purchase clothes form the wholesalers and then sell them among his villagers. This will increase his income.
