Shahida's story

Shahida is a 37-year-old married woman and a mother of five children. She has been running a business stitching clothes for many years. She knows the techniques of stitching very well. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She also deals in the work of cloth trade to generate extra income. She earns enough to lead a decent life.

To help her continue operations of her business, Shahida requested for a loan of PKR 30,000 to buy a stock of threads in different colors along with packs of zippers and laces. It will help her meet the demands of her customers on time. In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
