A loan of $2,775 helped to buy calves.

Mayrash's story

Mayrash is a 64 year old widow who, after her husband's death, has been raising her three children and maintaining the farm on her own. Mayrash received secondary education and her family's main source of income is animal husbandry. Mayrash started raising animals 33 years ago with the purchase of 100 KGS worth of livestock. Thanks to her hard work, Mayrash now has three milk cows and six sheep, and her monthly income is 12,000 KGS. Wishing to further expand her business, Mayrash applied for a loan of 135,000 KGS from Bai Tushum and Partners in order to buy calves. Mayrash plans to reinvest any profit she receives into further growing her flock.
