Grigol's story

Grigol is a 57-year-old married man. He lives with his wife in a small village of Zestaponi district. Grigol is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, he has three cows and three calves. His wife produces cheese to sell. In addition, Grigol has a vineyard and sells wine.

Grigol requested a loan to start a new business. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables him to get a loan of 3,000 GEL. With the received credit, he will rent a space, renovate it, and open a shoe workshop.

He had worked in a shoe workshop and is experienced in this field. He will get orders to make different kinds of shoes. The Start Up program will enable him to be involved in his own business and thus increase the income for his family.
