A loan of $1,050 helped to buy onion and wheat seed.

Sayyohidin's story

Sayyohidin is a simple farmer. He is 31 years old and lives in Shahrituz, Tajikistan. Sayyohidin has been growing crops since he was 17 years old. He plants onion and wheat on his land. His wife helps him, but his children, although they want to help, are too young. Sayohhidin has four children and teaches at a high school.

Sayyohidin and his wife are working hard to prepare for autumn planting. The loan will allow them to buy onion and wheat seeds. Sayyohidin is working diligently, and hopes that next year will bring a plentiful harvest. Most of all, he likes that he will earn his living honestly and through his own effort. Sayyohidin is a happy and honest person; we hope that he will raise his children to be the same way.
