A loan of $400 helped to buy pigs, corn, firewood, and lime for her business.

Santos Antonia's story

Santos is a responsible, hard-working and honest woman. She lives with her husband and children in a hamlet in the south of Honduras. She has a business selling pigs and another making tortillas.

Santos has been doing these two kinds of work for over twelve years. She needs a loan in order to buy corn, firewood, lime, and pigs, for her businesses. With this loan she hopes that her sales will increase as she has more products to offer and is able to serve her customers better.

Santos is hoping to pay for necessities and to improve her and her family's quality of life a little. In a few years she hopes that her business will continue to grow and be recognised in the area. She hopes that her children will become good people, with better opportunities.
