Preab S., age 60, is a widow and lives in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. Since 2000, she has been earning a living as a wedding chef and is able to earn around $2 to support her family. She has seven children, four of whom are married and live away from home. Two others are employed doing different work.
To make more profit to support the family, Mrs. Preab S. would like to loan from Kiva via Credit, a local partner, an amount of $600 to purchase a motorbike for her son to operate a motor-taxi business.
