Zvidozvevanhu Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 56 year-old Mildred from Mutare. She is widowed and has three children, two attending school. She also cares for one other dependent. Mildred runs a retail business selling ladies suits, kid's wear and footwear. The business has been in operation for two years. She says the main challenges faced are high import duty at border posts and high transport costs. Mildred has requested a loan of $600 to purchase more clothes for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve general family welfare. In the future, Mildred plans to have ownership of her own boutique shop in town. Mildred is a member of Zvidozvevanhu group.
