Lalin's Group's story

Lalin is 38 years old and married with two children, both of whom are dependents and still in school. She lives in a wooden house with her family members in a rural village of the Sangke district. To make a living, Lalin sells grocery items while her husband works as an electrician. Having been in this business for four years, Lalin manages to earn about 65,000 KHR per day and can save about 15,000 KHR each day for their future needs.

This Lalin's first loan with VisionFund. She is leading a three-member group to apply for a loan. Lalin will use her portion of the loan to buy more grocery items for resale. She hopes to earn more income from her current business in order to earn a better living.
