A loan of $1,500 helped to buy feed for her cattle.

Hilda's story

Hilda raises dairy cows for their milk and also to make a very good quality cheese. She lives with her husband in the city of Cochabamba.

Hilda has been raising dairy cows since her youth. Right now there are water shortages in the area where she works so there’s not much fresh feed for her cattle. For that reason Hilda needs money to buy feed which she can store, like soy hulls. Then she won’t have to stop feeding her cattle, and they can continue to produce milk as usual.

With this loan she’ll have the opportunity to continue her business and avoid a decrease in her cattle’s milk production. Then her income won’t decrease, and she can maintain her current standard of living.
