A loan of $600 helped to buy agricultural inputs to maintain her coffee crop.

Magda Elizabeth's story

Magda is 34 years of age. She is a determined woman with a great desire to get ahead. At 34 years of age, she is a woman farmer and homemaker, since she has three children from her marriage who study and support their parents with various tasks in the field.

It was her parents who taught her to work the land, since in her family it is a tradition and source of income to cover the needs of her children and her home. She appreciates the support her parents gave her as a child, because thanks to their financial support despite the scarce resources in her home, she was able to complete primary school.

The land that she works is her own. Part of it was acquired with great effort and dedication, and the other part through an inheritance that her parents gave her so that she could work and generate income for her home.

Her dreams are those of being able to expand her coffee crops, planting a better variety of better quality that can be exported to other countries, improving her household finances and generating employment in the area where she lives. As a mother, she would like to support and give her children the opportunity to be able to study so that they can be prepared and offer their families a good example to follow.

She has applied for a loan with which she will buy agricultural inputs like compost, fertilizers, fungicides, insecticides, etc. that will make her crops better and more protected from sickness and disease.
