Brígida, 65, has three independent adult children who live in another house except her youngest daughter and her family who live next door to Brígida in a separate apartment in order to be close to her.

Brígida earns income of her own because she doesn’t like to be dependent. Therefore, she sells food items at retail in a neighborhood store where she stocks a variety of goods. She started the business more than 13 years ago so she has regular customers who are neighbors from the neighborhood. As time has passed the number of customers has increased due to population growth and now the capital she invests is insufficient which is why she’s asking for this loan to increase her stock merchandise.
