A loan of $550 helped buy supplies and tools for his work (blades, scissors, hair gel, and more) and to better adapt his space.

Orlando De Jesús's story

Orlando, 43 years old, is single and has 3 children who are 11, 10 and 6 years old.

For twelve years he has been working as a barber, but in order to increase his income he decided to begin storing and selling propane gas in order to take advantage of the extra space he had available. His main customers are family, friends, and neighbors in the area where he lives and with the income that he receives from his work, he supports his family. He is an energetic man, enterprising, active and persevering, striving to bring up his children.

This is his motivation for asking for a loan so he can buy supplies and tools for his work (blades, scissors, hair gel, and more) and to better adapt his space. This will allow him to promote this service, as well as have better working conditions so that his customers are satisfied with the service he provides and in this way he plans to increase his sales and the earnings for his family.

Orlando wants to continue working hard to complete his dream of having a well suited barber shop and generate jobs, and improve not only his quality of life, but that of many other people influenced by this work, and also to have the opportunity of providing better education and wellbeing to his three children.
