A loan of $475 helped to buy additional stocks to sell in her general store, like canned goods, toothbrushes, toothpaste, noodles, and laundry soap.

Lucita's story

Lucita is 58 years old and married, with three children.

Lucita works hard to provide for her family. She runs a general store in the Philippines and she has requested a PHP 19,500 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy additional stocks to sell in her general store, like canned goods, toothbrushes, toothpaste, noodles, and laundry soap.

Lucita has borrowed and paid 19 loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the general store for 18 years and also earns additional income from pig-fattening.

Lucita aspires to save enough money to expand her business.
