A loan of $1,100 helped to buy agricultural supplies for her coffee crops.

Alma's story

Alma is 31 years old and is a coffee producer. She has 2 children who live with her. Along with her husband, she goes daily to the neighbouring coffee crops where they take care of any necessary maintenance such as: pruning, cleaning, erecting shade, fertilizing and maintaining the fences. In this way, they generate more income for their home. Then, they move onto other coffee crops that they have 45 minutes from their one-bedroom house to give them the same attention and protect them from diseases such as rust or bugs that can deteriorate the grain and the entire plant.

She dreams of seeing her children working in professional jobs with stable, solid homes. She also dreams of one day being able to extend her coffee crops to buy more land and sow a variety of attractive coffee for her clients. She would like to be able to sell it for a good price in the market so she would receive more income for her family and strengthen her home's economic situation.

Therefore, today she is requesting finance with which she will buy 20 units of nutricafe, 9 units of manure 18-46-0 and 4 tubs of fertilizer to help her coffee grow.
