Memunatu is 47 years old and married, with 3 children in the age group 9-13 years. She runs a local basket business in Tombo, a western rural area in Sierra Leone. She started this business to make a daily living.
She got into this business just after she got married, and sells baskets within her community. She says that sometimes business is very slow.
Memunatu requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more baskets for resale. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her increase her business and repay her loan. In the future, she would like to expand her business. She is grateful for your support.
