A loan of $1,450 helped purchase agricultural supplies to plant corn.

Ana's story

Ana is 53 years old, she lives with her 3 children, she is a widow, and her home is located in the community of Monteagudo. Her primary responsibilities include taking care of pigs and growing corn. She cares for the pigs in old corrals and she is able to earn some money from this activity every six months or so.
Ana is hard working, and that is why she is asking for this loan. She needs to purchase some supplies so she can plant more corn, because there has been a campaign promoting this produce, and so she hopes to be able to earn some more income. She also needs to cover the cost of school, everyday items, clothing, and other expenses that her 2 children have. By her helping them, her children will be able to finish their schooling and begin professional careers and have a better life.
