Missekple I Group's story

The group Missekple I consists of fifteen people who live in the same village. The representative of the group, named Gagnonsi, is the one whose hand is raised in the photo. Gagnonsi is 53 years old and a widow with four children, some of whom are in school and one is her dependent. Gagnonsi lives with her children. Gagnonsi did not attend school. To provide for her family, Gagnonsi has been selling condiments in the region for fifteen years. At the same time, Gagnonsi also sells corn. Gagnonsi buys goods in a market in Benin. This is the first time that Gagnonsi and the other members of the group Missekple I are seeking a loan from Alidé. This credit will allow them to strengthen their business and increase their capital, in order to better meet customer demand.
