Since 1995 Romik has provided repair service to locals. In particular, he repairs phones aand other electrical equipment. He is already very skilled at his job, and locals value his hard and good quality work very much. His business helps Romik to sustain his family's standard of living.
Now for purchasing tools and equipments to help him in his work, Romik needs financial support. He has been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. So this loan will greatly assist Romik to have tools and equipment that will make his work effective.
