Abdul Latif
Abdul Latif is 37 years old and a responsible father of 2 sons and 5 daughters. He is living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan.

He is a milk man by profession. He has seven buffaloes for getting milk, a bull for breeding and many bull and heifer calves. He gets milk two times a day. His wife and daughters produce cheese, yogurt and butter from the milk. With the addition of these products he earns sufficient income to run a house.

He has been keeping his cattle at home, and through breeding he has been increasing his number of cattle for many years, but now he does not have enough space at home to keep cattle. He is feeling a problem during getting milk and feeding his cattle in the congested atmosphere. He has an empty wide space beside his house, but does not have a sufficient amount of money to build a cowshed for his cattle.

Therefore, Abdul Latif requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner, BRAC Pakistan, so that he could build a cowshed and more easily increase his cattle. He hopes that now he will be able to easily carry on his business, and he would not be in any need of more space for cattle for many years.

Abdul Latif has to pay for the marriage of his dear daughters, and he has to collect the dowry as well. He has to maximize his savings so that he could easily fulfill his responsibilities. He says thanks to Kiva and to its field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
